About TAP
When the crowd fades, the prayer remains.
TAP — The Athletes Prayer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built at the intersection of faith, athletic identity, and human wholeness.
Mission
They see the stats. God sees the story. TAP exists for the story.
Who we are
Faith-Centered. Athlete-Led. Community-Rooted.
TAP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization built at the intersection of faith, athletic identity, and human wholeness. Inspired by the truth that professional football players — some of the most celebrated people on earth — are often profoundly unseen as whole human beings. The world sees a superstar. TAP sees a man of faith, a son, a father — someone who prays before every snap and knows exactly where his blessings come from.
We build community, media platforms, youth programs, and events that honor that truth.

Founding Voice
Tyler Allgeier
Arizona Cardinals · #22 · Running Back · BYU Cougar
A walk-on at BYU who became a legend — breaking the school's all-time single-season rushing record with 1,606 yards and earning Second-Team All-America honors in 2021. The fifth-round pick who outworked everyone. Four seasons in Atlanta, now bringing that same grit to Arizona. What drives Tyler isn't the highlight reel — it's the faith he carried from Fontana, California to every locker room he's ever entered.
Tyler's story is TAP's story: that God's purpose is bigger than any playbook.
"I was a walk-on who didn't have any guarantees. Every yard I got, every opportunity I had — I knew that wasn't me. That was God. TAP is about helping other athletes know that too."
Core values
What TAP will not compromise.
Faith-Centered
Prayer and Scripture are the foundation of every program TAP builds, not an afterthought.
Athlete-Led
Athletes like Tyler Allgeier shape TAP's voice and direction — this is peer testimony, not outside messaging.
Community-Rooted
TAP invests in Atlanta and the communities athletes come from, not just the platforms they play on.
Whole-Person Care
We honor the man of faith, the son, the father — the whole human being behind the stats.
Radical Stewardship
Every gift is directed back into faith huddles, media, camps, and Faith Fest.
